Spring training is a rite of spring as baseball players return to form before the beginning of a new season. Here at the Iowa Heartland SCTE, we want to help get you and your cable system in shape by offering two day-long spring training sessions in April.
The topic for this round of SCTE training is "Best Practices for HFC Networks". We're excited to have Kelly Watts of American Broadband Certification on hand to guide attendees through proactive monitoring and maintenance of HFC networks, including: getting ready for DOCSIS 3.3; troubleshooting upstream impairments in the outside plant; troubleshooting ingress, impulse noise, and linear distortions in the home; and live PathTrac, QAMTrac, and MACTrac demonstrations. Also, Bill Davis of Communications Supply Group will help attendees understand cumulative leakage index, or CLI. All the details on the Iowa Heartland SCT
